About HOPE Alliance, Inc.

HOPE Alliance Inc, founded in 2021, is a non-profit organization, comprised of members. HOPE Alliance members are non-profit, for profit and religious organizations with individual missions to promote equity for Black people in Montgomery County, PA and beyond. HOPE Alliance members collectively fundraise and when missions align, promote member organizations. 

 

Equity is defined as the quality of being fair and impartial. "Equity recognizes that each person has different circumstances and allocates the exact resources and opportunities needed to reach an equal outcome”. It's critical to remember that social systems aren’t naturally inequitable — they’ve been intentionally designed to reward specific demographics for so long that the system’s outcomes may appear unintentional but are actually rooted in discriminatory practices and beliefs.

HOPE Alliance member organizations deal directly with populations that have been impacted by inequity. Through collaboration with our diverse membership, HOPE Alliance members are better equipped to solve issues facing Black people in Montgomery County, PA, and beyond.

To collectively fundraise and bring awareness to member organizations missions and their work and collaboratively improve communication and services delivered to the Black community.

To connect for profit, not profit & faith based entities serving Black people in part or in whole in Montgomery County, PA and beyond. Providing organizations the benefit of economies of scale and economies of scope, benefiting from shared resources and knowledge to collaboratively serve the needs of the Black Community.
